    Its really a nice trick to know, thanks for sharing.
    On the limitation, If I understand right, you are saying, exception wont work for shared members.
    But on this statement ,
    “So for example, let’s imagine that you have some accounts that are entered in another form and for this reason you have an alternate hierarchy with Shared Members, the form will let you select the alternate hierarchy but the result won’t change.”

    We anyway will use the primary instances only for input in a form and not shared members right?

      Hi, thanks for your comment: in my case, I had an alternate hierarchy to organize members for a form and also for calculations. But most of the time, I use primary members in forms, in this case, no problemo, everything will work as designed.
